Website designers typically charge silly fees for even the most trivial of updates, and because the website has been built in a program that requires special programming skills, (HTML knowledge, domain control, DNS settings, FTP access, hosting access, usernames, passwords, etc etc) website owners are unable to update the sites themselves and are held to ransom by the website designers who control the website – if they are still around that is… The result?
